Dima Hasao Team moves out for Guwahati to participate in Bihu celebration on April 14

 

Haflong, 10 April 2023: Cultural troupe from Dima Hasao district set out from Haflong to participate in a grand Bihu celebration on 14 April 2023 at Sarusajai stadium in Guwahati.

The team consists of one Addl. Deputy Commissioner, One Magistrate, Three Medical staffs, Police; 36 dancers (Nachoni) and 15 drummers (Dhuliya) .

The cultural team have been practising since 25 March 2023 at Haflong.

It may be stated that Assam govt is organizing Bibu celebration in the premises of Sarusajai Stadium at Guwahati with an aim to create history and record in genius book with more than 10000 participants.The celebration will be participated by more than 10000 dancers (nachoni) and drummers (dhuliya).

Dima Hasao district is also to participate in this bihu with 36 dancers and 15 drummers.
